Weichen always regards product quality as first place and implement through products design, production process and sales.
Weichen has brake disc and brake drum laboratory, in which we can test molding sand properties, quick material analysis in front of furnace,molten iron temperature, spectral analysis, carbon and sulfur analysis, chemical analysis, metallographic analysis ,tensile strength, hardness and salt spray test.
To avoid producing of non-conforming products in batch and prevent them to flow to subsequent processes, Weichen takes a lot of measures. Self inspection, first piece inspection, random inspection and final inspection system can guarantee the consistency of product quality. For finished product inspection, we have automatic balancing machine, three coordinate measuring instruments, Marposs measuring instrument and other automatic test equipment.
Automatic balancing machine is used for automatic balancing inspection and correction of brake discs and brake drums, which can deal with product imbalance value inspection, angle positioning, milling and re-inspection automatically.
Marposs measuring instrument can detect 21 different geometric dimensions and form and location tolerance of the brake disc automatically and stably.
Three coordinate measuring equipment is used to accurately detect all dimensions of products which avoids difficulites in regular testing equipments and the personal error in testing results.
In 2014, Weichen passed through the Germany testing agency’s ECE R90 on-site audit. Now, over 1600 European market references have passed ECE R90 test and got the certification.
